Seesmic Video Service Lands $6 Mil in Funds

Seesmic has secured $6 million in first round investments, with $5.5 million of that coming from Atomic Ventures, PaidContent reports. Seesmic allows users to share short video messages, similar to the way Twitter does with text. The other $500,000 comes from high-profile individual investors, including TechCrunch founder Michael Arrington, AOL co-founder Steve Case and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman.
