Senators Introduce Peer-to-Peer Anti-Piracy Bill

Democrat and Republican senators introduced a bill that would authorize the Department of Justice to file civil lawsuits against people who break copyright laws using peer-to-peer technology that is used to transport large files across the Web, News.com reports. The record and movie industry, whose works are available on P2P pirate sites, lauded the bill.
