Looking to Launch in Summer

Most Popular, the Web site that began life in the winter during the WGA strike, is morphing into a commercial Web video venture beginning this weekend, Daily Variety says. The ad-supported and sponsored site will showcase more than 40 original series and short-form content from members of the WGA and other unions. Genres include comedy, drama, sci fi, horror, game shows, soaps and family films.
