Study Finds Web Video Users Still Prefer Snacks

A new eMarketer study breaks down Web-video consumption in 2007, placing news and current events at the top of the charts. Of all U.S. online video viewers, 61% say they viewed news and current events clips at least once a month; 57% watched short comedy clips and 51% saw movie trailers. Only 27% of participants reported they streamed full-length TV episodes while only 14% watched full-length movies.
