Surge in Scripted Video Coincides With Strike

The Wall Street Journal (Subscription required, for now.) notes the proliferation of short, scripted Web video entertainment comes as the TV world tries to mediate the effects of the writers strike. The paper notes previously reported debuts, such as “Quarterlife,” as well as coming sites such as 60Frames.com, led by former UTA executive Brent Weinstein.
