ThePlatform to Power PBS Online Video Content

PBS will work with content management company thePlatform to publish video content online. Using thePlatform’s technology, PBS will make its national programming available through its Web properties (PBS.org, PBSKids.org, PBSParents.org, PBSTeachers.org) and to local affiliates. It will also allow local stations to share content with other network stations. ThePlatform manages Web video content for other brands, including BBC, CBS’s College Sports TV and CNBC.
