Truveo Launches Election Site

By Greg Published on .

Video search service Truveo introduced a new section of its site dedicated to video from presidential election coverage, TVWeek says. The new page includes election-related video from TV networks, user-generated sites and the campaigns themselves. The new site on AOL-owned Truveo includes pages for each of the leading candidates in the Democratic and Republican primary races: Hillary Clinton, John Edwards and Barack Obama on the Democratic side and Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, John McCain and Mitt Romney on the Republican side, Truveo said. Viewers can sort the video by popularity, date added and relevance and can share with friends, rate the videos or add to social network sites. The site draws from the more than 100 million videos Truveo indexes.
