TubeMogul, Vator.tv Receive Funding

By Sergio Published on .

TubeMogul has received its first round of funding of $1.5 million from Knight’s Bridge Capital, VentureBeat reports. The company helps clients to distribute clips through various video-sharing sites and then gives analytical evaluations on their performance. Among TubeMogul’s larger clients are CBS, Brightcove and FunnyOrDie.com.
Vator.tv has landed a second round of funding of more than $1 million, Beet.tv says. Additional investors include Richard Rosenblatt, George Harik and Peter Thiel, who added to his initial investment in the company. Vator.tv allows entrepreneurs to post video of their pitches for venture capitalists to view with the hopes of striking interest in potential investors.
