TV to Hold Lead Over Web, Executives Say

Nine out of 10 television executives believe that by 2012, Internet distribution will account for at least 40% of all video content. According to the Digital Video Barometer survey of more than 270 TV executives found 23% think the Web will transmit 60% of all content, the Hollywood Reporter says. However, two-thirds of the executives surveyed for the study said TV would account for at least 60% of video consumption in five years. Video tracking firm Teletrax underwrote the study by Myers Publishing.
