WB Helps Essence Relaunch

Warner Bros. Television Group will help in the multimedia rebranding of its Time Warner sister unit Essence Magazine, TVWeek.com reports. The two media units will relaunch Essence.com this summer, with new television programming targeted to African American women from Warner’s Telepictures Productions. The first project will be an original digital series, “Extra on Essence,” hosted by “Extra” correspondent Tanika Ray.
