Web Demographics Data Important for Advertisers

NBC Digital soon will be releasing demographics data for its online content in a move to give more information to potential Web advertisers, TVWeek.com reports. The move signals the importance of Web viewing data as content creators are trying to lure advertisers who remain skeptical about online ads. A Web measurement and reporting company, Visible Measures, is looking to serve customers with that exact information, Daisy Whitney says in her latest “New Media Minute” report.
