More people are watching TV shows online than through video-on-demand services, TVWeek.com
reports. A Solutions Research Group study found that in November, 20% of Internet users watched a TV show online each week while only 14% of people watched a show via VOD. During that same month, 43% of American Internet users had streamed a TV show at some point, up from 25% during October 2006. Contributing to these numbers is the fact that broadband is currently used in 60 million households, whereas only 37 million have VOD.
