Women Flock to ABC.com Content

ABC’s Web viewers are overwhelmingly female, as well as, on average, younger, wealthier and better educated than viewers who watch via TV sets, Silicon Alley Insider says. ABC.com’s audience is 85% female and for some shows women make up as much as 90% of the online audience. The ABC research into its audience, conducted by Magid Associates, also showed that viewers are more than twice as likely to remember the single-sponsor per show ads that run with episodes online.
