YouTube Ad Revenue Expectations Down

YouTube will pull in $200 million in ad revenue this year, less than owner Google had expected, the Wall Street Journal says, citing unnamed sources. As the ad sales operation gets an overhaul to eliminate inefficiencies, YouTube will begin accepting pre-roll and post-roll ads with some videos, a source told the paper. The site has so far shunned them for fear of driving away users.
