YouTube Consolidates Online Video Dominance

YouTube’s market share of Web video usage continues to climb. The Google-owned site in December got 52.3 percent of video visits, according to a Compete.com accounting noted in Silicon Alley Insider. That’s up 6.1% from November and 40% year-over-year. Yahoo and AOL also posted increases in December (11% and 24%, respectively. MSN and MySpace video traffic fell.
