YouTube Expands Revenue-Sharing Program

YouTube, the biggest video-sharing site, is expanding its Partners Program, which lets creators share in revenue from its products, the Hollywood Reporter says. The project started in May on an invitation-only basis. Now any content creator in the U.S. can apply to wring revenue from their clips. Among the participants: Toy Sunday, the creator of “Cherry Chocolate Rain” and its Dr. Pepper advertising parody.
