YouTube Co-founder Prefers Fast Over Sharp

YouTube, the biggest video-sharing site, is planning to boost the quality of its video, but won’t go so far as to degrade usability, GigaOm says. YouTube co-founder Steve Chen said the company is experimenting with ways to gauge the speed of users connections and improve video quality accordingly. This doesn’t imply YouTube is going high-def, just higher quality.
