YouTube Outlines Ad Sales Guidelines

YouTube has unveiled the specifics of its new ad sales program that allows content producers to sell their own ads, Silicon Alley Insider reports. YouTube is asking content owners to sell ads for at least $15 CPM and share 45% of the revenue with the site. Participants also must commit to selling at least $10,000 worth of ads, which translates to almost 670,000 views per clip.
