YouTube Down in Video Streams, Uniques

By Sergio Published on .

NewTeeVee notes that YouTube had almost 1 million fewer unique viewers in January than the month before. Nielsen numbers show YouTube had about 67.16 million unique viewers in December 2007 but only 66.17 million in January 2008. The drop in users also led to a stream drop of 65 million. Silicon Alley Insider also notes that total Web video viewership was down to 5.9 billion streams from 6.2 billion during the same time frame.
