America Online took over the New York Post on Sept. 24 with 17 different ads by BBDO, New York, including those seen here. The ads were part of build-up to the Dave Matthews concert for New York public schools, sponsored by AOL, and teasers for the launch of 9.0. AOL paid to have 1 million copies of the Post given away free and inserted a sample CD in the paper. Senior executive creative director: Jimmy Siegel.
