Interpublic stock dropped sharply after the company announced it will take charges of more than $300 million to restructure units and integrate True North Communications. The True North deal closed late June 22 after it was approved by the European Union and True North filed forms with the Securities and Exchange commission to terminate its stock listing. The deal's worth dropped from $2.1 billion when announced in March to $1.62 billion by the close June 22. In trading June 22, Interpublic closed at $28, down 5.56% for the week. Among AdMarket 50 companies, 33 were up and 17 were down for the week.
