Univision Communications, the Spanish-language TV broadcaster that operates the Univision and Galavision networks, joined the AdMarket 50 as the index's first publicly held Hispanic media company. Univision takes the slot held by Time Warner, which ceased trading Jan. 12 following its merger with America Online. AOL Time Warner, the new company formed by the merger, remains a member of the AdMarket 50. In trading last week, Univision closed at $49.00, off 2.49% for the week.
