Omnicom Group, the first of the Big 3 agency holding companies to report third-quarter results, posted share price gains last week. WPP Group and Interpublic Group of Cos. both finished the week with gains also (WPP setting a new 52-week high). At Omnicom, worldwide net income was up 26% for the quarter to $70.3 million on revenue of $1.21 billion, up 17%; for nine months, net income was up 26% to $243 million and revenue was up 20% to $3.63 billion.
