Viacom's stock price climbed on early week reports that CBS Corp. was interested in acquiring some or all of the company. Viacom's Paramount unit owns 19 TV stations. Federal broadcast station ownership rules were liberalized this month to permit ownership of two TV stations in the same market. Paramount and CBS own competing TV stations in markets including Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit and Miami. Viacom closed at $43.50 Friday, up 7.08%
