Kellogg Co.'s share price climbed on better than expected second-quarter earnings. The bright spot was Kellogg's convenience food business: Volume was up 14% over year-ago levels; net sales climbed 18% to $422 million. In cereals, where Kellogg cited "very challenging" conditions, volume was up 0.8% while net sales climbed 0.4% to $1.36 billion.
