Jeffrey Rayport

Jeffrey Rayport, who coined the term viral marketing in the 1990s, is a renowned e-commerce and marketing specialist with a quarter-century of experience as a consultant to information-intensive industries, such as retail, financial services, media and entertainment. He currently serves as an operating partner at private equity firm Castanea and is the founder of Marketspace, a global strategy consulting practice. Previously, he was a faculty member at Harvard Business School. Rayport has published several books on the topics of e-commerce and reinventing service businesses.
