BS has the best portfolio of proven laugh-out-loud comedies on television. To leverage their impressive programming assets, TBS is relaunching itself as the home for comedy lovers. The brand relaunch includes a new on-air look, logo and tagline, “tbs very funny,” all designed to support a targeted programming strategy.

Comedy Lovers
The comedy lovers, the network’s core target, are young adults who are well educated, affluent for their age, dual-gender and love comedic programming of all types. They look for shows that make them laugh out loud and feel good. Comedy lovers consistently turn to TBS because it’s where they can find the greatest sitcoms and the funniest blockbuster movies.

Sitcoms
This June, 54 million new viewers will be introduced to “Sex and the City” for the first time when the show makes its exclusive commercial television debut on TBS. This groundbreaking series, which has become a national sensation, tells the story of four women searching for love in the Big Apple. TBS is giving viewers the opportunity to see it from the beginning by airing all six seasons of “Sex and the City” in order.

In addition to “Sex and the City,” TBS is adding “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “The Family Guy” and “Yes, Dear” to its lineup this summer. These programs will augment TBS’ already powerful slate of contemporary sitcoms, including “Seinfeld,” “Friends” and “Home Improvement.” TBS’ sitcoms offer advertisers a way to reach a young audience by associating with TV’s greatest comedy hits.

Reality Programming
Also premiering this summer is TBS’ new reality series “Outback Jack,” from Bruce Nash’s Nash Entertainment. Competing in the ultimate test of love, 12 beautiful but pampered women vie for the affections of one man while roughing it in Australia’s Outback wilderness. Over the course of eight episodes, the women will be put to the test to see which one of them has the stamina to make it in the Outback and win the affection of their ruggedly handsome hero.
