Evan L. Tracey is the founder and president of Campaign Media Analysis Group, a TNS Media Intelligence company. CMAG is the leading custom media-research company for politics and public affairs advertising expenditure data.

Since 1996, his clients have included national trade associations, foundations, Fortune 100 companies, national news organizations, academic institutions and hundreds of national, state and local political campaigns.

Mr. Tracey has close to two decades of political-campaign, legislative lobbying and media-research experience and appears often as part of CNN's election coverage.

Mr. Tracey has been a featured speaker at forums sponsored by the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia, Campaigns and Elections Magazine, American Association of Political Consultants, the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, the E-Voter Institute and has provided written commentary to a number of groups including the Television Bureau of Advertising. Mr. Tracey is often quoted by the media on issues and trends in political and issue advertising.

Mr. Tracey received an M.A. from George Mason University and B.A. degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and is a member of the faculty at George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management.
