CCTV's New Year show takes in $64.5 M

China Central Television will earn about $64.5 million in advertising revenue during its four-hour 2007 Chinese New Year's Gala program this year, a 20% increase over last year. The variety show will air on Feb.17, the eve of China's largest holiday, and will likely be seen by more than one billion people.
