China has 15 million underage smokers

Forty million of China's 130 million children aged 13 to 18 have tried smoking. Of those, 15 million are addicted to tobacco. About 67% of the children who have sampled cigarettes smoked their first whole cigarette before turning 13. More boys than girls smoke, although in big cities the number of girls who have tried cigarettes is growing.
