China Wants To Double Disposable Income Of Rural Chinese By 2020

By Published on .

Last year, the per capita disposable income of rural Chinese was just 4,140 RMB ($606), but the government hopes to double that figure by 2020. It has also pledged to spend more on social welfare in rural areas and focus on modernization of the agricultural sector.
