China Is World's Largest Holder of U.S. Treasury Bills

China's economy has grown at an annual average rate of 9.6% for 30 years, according to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. Between 2003 and 2007, annual growth hit double digits. Ten years ago, China's trade volume with the U.S. stood at $102.6 billion. Today, it is valued at $302 billion. China is the world's largest holder of U.S. Treasury bills at about $1 trillion.
