Chinese discover taste for French wine

Sales of French wine in China grew 145% last year as middle class Chinese develop a taste for good wine. Sales of French cognac and other spirits grew 162%, making China the third-largest spirits market after the U.S. and Singapore. Chinese spent almost $364 million on French wines and spirits in 2007, making China the 11th-largest market by value.
