Mobile phone sales top 37m in Q3

Mobile phone sales topped 37 million units in the third quarter of 2007, up from 34.85 million in the previous quarter. The leading foreign brands--Nokia, Motorola and Samsung--accounted for 60.3% of sales. Nokia was in the lead with a 35.1% share. The leading domestic handset producer, Lenovo, took 6.1% of the market.
