Online Ad Spending in China Will Increase 36.7% in 2009

Online advertising growth in China will slow to 36.7% in 2009 from 105% a year earlier, according to a report by iResearch Consulting Group. At that rate, online advertising will total $434.5 million in 2009, up from $317.4 million last year. As advertisers continue to move spending online, China's online ad market will be worth $1.25 billion by 2011, the report says.
