Online advertising grew 75% in 2007

Online advertising in China, home to 210 million internet users, grew 75% to $1.5 billion in 2007. Growth was driven by the rise of search-engine ads, which increased 109% last year and generated 27% of the market in terms of value. The largest player in China's online search industry is Baidu, which has a 62% share, far above Google and Yahoo China.
