Ben Barnes, Hong Kong-based president-CEO, Asia/Pacific & Africa of Foote, Cone & Belding, is leaving the network to pursue other interests. He will not be replaced, the region will be run from three "centers of excellence" in India, Southeast Asia, and China, which will be managed by Hong Kong-based Gary Tse, FCB's chairman-CEO, Greater China. Mr. Barnes' departure is part of a global re-organization that gives Rafael de Guzman, president-CEO for Latin America, the new president-CEO of FCB International post and eliminates regional management | Aaron Lau, who recently resigned as chairman, Asia at DDB Worldwide, has launched Bravo Asia, a marketing consultancy in Hong Kong with a focus on content production for new media platforms like online games and mobile phones | Nike Inc. has invited four agencies to pitch for its creative business in China, the incumbent JWT, Wieden+Kennedy, Publicis Worldwide and DMG, a local agency | China Construction Bank has appointed Leo Burnett Worldwide, Beijing following a pitch against Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi and the incumbent, Lowe Worldwide. Media will remain inhouse.
