Bryce Whitwam Joins Wunderman

Former Nitro Partner Succeeds Melissa Bell As Shanghai GM

SHANGHAI (AdAgeChina.com) -- Wunderman has appointed Bryce Whitwam, 44, as general manager of its Shanghai office.

He succeeds Melissa Bell, who recently resigned from the WPP Group direct marketing agency. Wunderman works with advertisers such as Changan Ford & Land Rover in China.

Until July 2008, he was managing partner of Nitro in Shanghai, where he led the independent agency's integrated marketing activities. He specializes in non-traditional advertising, particularly in retail communications, brand activation and promotions.

Before that, he was managing director of 141/Ogilvy Action in Beijing. Mr. Whitwam has also worked for Nielsen Co. in Taiwan and has held regional positions at other agencies such as Lowe Worldwide in Hong Kong and Thailand.
