SHANGHAI (AdAgeChina.com) -- Mason Lin is returning to Euro RSCG Worldwide as CEO, Greater China.
Mr. Lin, 48, spent the past three years in Canada, retaining his title of chairman, China on a part-time basis. Now based in Shanghai, he succeeds Richard Tan, who joined DDB Group in Beijing in January 2009.
In his last role at Euro RSCG, he oversaw operations in the mainland and developed relationships with marketers such as Dongfeng Peugeot. Mr. Lin spent over 15 years at Euro RSCG before moving to Canada. Before that, he worked at JWT and McCann Erickson. He is one of the founding members of China's 4As trade association.
Two other Euro RSCG veterans are back at the network's Beijing office, Managing Director James Chen and Exec Creative Director Doze Tou.
"James and Doze have the rare ability to drive strong new business growth while building long-lasting relationships with clients," Mr. Lin said.
They succeed Managing Director Tammy Sheu and Exec Creative Director Jordan Hsueh ,who resigned from the agency earlier this year for personal reasons.
Mr. Chen spent seven years at Euro RSCG, Beijing from 1998-2005, rising from account director to managing director.
Most recently, he was VP and managing director of Shunya Advertising, a Chinese agency partly owned by Omnicom Group.
Mr. Tou joined Euro RSCG in Taiwan in 1990, and relocated to the agency's Beijing office in 1996, where he helped build the creative department, ultimately in the creative director role. Most recently, he was exec creative director of Ogilvy & Mather's auto marketing specialist team, working with advertisers like FAW Volkswagen.
