China Creative Veteran Moves to Independent Agency From DDB

BEIJING (AdAgeChina.com) -- Iris has appointed Barry Low, 48, in Beijing as creative director of the ad agency's operation in China.

Earlier this year, Iris decentralized its global management structure in four key regions China, the rest of Asia, Europe and America. Iris opened its first office in China in Beijing last year and opened a second office in Shanghai earlier this year.

Mr. Low will oversee the network's creative work in Beijing and Shanghai for advertisers like Sony Ericsson, and build Iris' creative profile in the region. He will report to Grant Hunter, regional creative director, Asia/Pacific based in Singapore.

Previously, Mr. Low was senior creative director, China at DDB Group, based in Shanghai. Prior to joining DDB in October 2008, he held senior creative positions at Wunderman, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy & Mather and Grey Group.
