Madhouse Appoints Dan Wong

Nokia Veteran Joins China's Leading Mobile Marketing Platform

SHANGHAI ( -- Madhouse, a Chinese mobile advertising network, has hired Dan Wong, a former senior executive at Nokia.

This month, Mr. Wong joined Madhouse as chief operating officer, based in Shanghai. The company operates China's largest mobile advertising network, representing over 75% of total mobile internet traffic in China.

"Dan will help us bring Madhouse's business to the next level both in China and in the international arena. We believe his eighteen-year track record will contribute significantly to Madhouse's future success," said Joshua Maa, Madhouse's founder and CEO.

Most recently, Mr. Wong was a Beijing-based VP, Greater China at Nokia, and has been responsible for the Finnish handset maker's multimedia business group and software and services group in the region. He also helped build Nokia's multimedia and mobile internet business in China.

Mr. Wong joined Nokia in 2003. Before that, he held internet and mobile marketing positions in the U.S., Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Japan, at companies such as AT&T, Openwave Systems and Excite@home.
