HONG KONG (AdAgeChina.com) -- To boost its digital and CRM capabilities, OgilvyOne has named Barney Loehnis, 38, regional head of digital, Asia/Pacific, starting Feb. 1, 2010.
In a new post based in Hong Kong, Mr. Loehnis will be responsible for developing OgilvyOne's digital offering in 13 offices in Asia and helping Ogilvy Group unify its digital offering across its different agencies.
"Digital is not only a mainstay for many clients today, it is seen as the key competitive battleground," said Mr. Loehnis, who resigned as network director, Asia/Pacific at Aegis-owned Isobar, also based in Hong Kong, late last year.
In Asia, OgilvyOne works with advertisers such as Lenove Group, China Mobile, Adidas, IBM Corp. American Express, Volkswagen Group, Diageo, Yahoo, Cisco, Unilever, Nestle and Motorola. The agency's assets include Digital Innovation Labs around the region, the ITOP media network in China, a mobile marketing joint venture with Icon Mobile in China, and a regional Neo@Ogilvy network.
