Rudy Wilson joined Frito-Lay North America in 2002 and currently serves as vice president of marketing. In this role, he leads marketing efforts for some of Frito-Lay's flagship brands, including Doritos, Cheetos and Fritos.
Since joining Frito-Lay, Rudy has worked to develop strategic marketing plans across several brands, including managing the activation and multi-million dollar Fiesta Bowl sponsorship for Tostitos, the development of customized short- and long-term product innovation plans for Wal-Mart, and the communication and activation strategy for the SunChips brand, which included a multi-year partnership with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In addition, he also led the multicultural marketing strategy for Frito-Lay's core brands.
Prior to joining Frito-Lay, Rudy worked at General Mills in its supply chain organization.
Although a military brat, Rudy considers Sierra Vista, Arizona his hometown. Rudy holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Marketing from Arizona State University.
