Twenty-three years ago, Marcello Serpa and José Luiz Madeira became the partners of AlmapBBDO. The agency, which already had years of road, took a new turn: Ze and Marcello wanted to do nothing less than the best advertising agency on the market.
AlmapBBDO was Agency of the Year in Cannes in 2000, 2010 and 2011. In 2013 and 2014, it was the 3rd. Most awarded agency of the Festival. In 2012, it brought the only Golden Lion in the Mobile category, which debuted at the Festival.
It is also the most awarded Brazilian agency in the world according to the Gunn Report, since the study was published 15 years ago. The GR examines agency performance at major local, regional, and global advertising festivals.
