INNOVATIVE PLACES TO WORK - SAPIENT

VIEW FROM THE TOP
Sapient Interactive is the world's largest independent interactive agency. Impressive, but that's not what I want you to remember. We're known for possessing a technological prowess that is unrivaled. Again, nice, but not what I want you to take away. Here's what you should remember:

Sapient Interactive is a new breed. A maverick. We are redefining what an agency looks like, how it works and what it's capable of achieving on behalf of its clients. Our technological muscle and award-winning creative results in highly effective, highly efficient marketing campaigns.

That's what we do. But we wouldn't be nearly as successful if it weren't for the way we do it.

It's called "The SapientWay": equal parts strategy, creation, execution and analysis. Yet it's the people who work here who give us our unique personality.

From designers and copywriters to programmers and project managers, there's a passion here that is tactile. I'm not talking about your run-of-the-mill "I like my job and I do it really well" kind of passion. I'm talking about passion bordering on mildly scary. An obsessive pursuit of excellence that has allowed us to forge partnerships with some of the world's leading brands.

At Sapient you'll find newbies and seasoned veterans. Deal makers and risk takers. Technology geeks and ridiculously talented freaks.

I use those terms with the utmost appreciation and respect for what these people bring to the dance. But they are most definitely individuals. Fortunately for me, and more important for our clients, all of these very individual, extraordinary people come together every day with a single, focused goal: to be the best at what we do.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

WHY WE WORK HERE
We asked staff members from three departments to tell us what they like best. Brazilians, Canadians, Americans, Germans, Australians, Cubans, South Africans, Mexicans, Hondurans, Brits and Swedes. The diversity of cultures and the ideas that come along with them are what make Sapient a truly interactive environment. When you walk through the halls and people from different backgrounds start interacting and the ideas start flowing, there's nothing like it. This is why I love it.
—Fio Rietti, Senior Art Director

For me, Sapient represents the future—both in evolving marketing services in an increasingly connected world and in how individuals and teams will work together, locally and globally. Sapient has created a culture that demands the utmost professionalism and accountability while giving every individual an empowering sense of latitude and support. Today's marketers need a new hybrid of creative, technology and consulting experience, and I believe Sapient is the place where that evolution is occurring.
—Dave Hibbitts, Account Director

I truly believe that Sapient offers more opportunity for growth than any other place I could be working. Here you do not have to wait for an opportunity. You can just make it happen. And after five years, that still is the case. For the next five years, I truly believe that Sapient is in a perfect position for the future. Interactive and technology are blurring the lines, and we have all the right components to be a leader in this evolving space.
—Marc Van Norden, Manager-Interactive Developer
