E-Trade - One Finger

February 04, 2007 | :30

In E-Trade's final Super Bowl outing before the reign of the talking baby would begin, the online brokergage E-Trade ran two 30-second spots during the 2007 game, both from BBDO New York. “Robbery” depicts a bank robbery committed by people wearing animal masks, signifying people being robbed by their bank. “One Finger” shows various things that can be done with the titular digit, including reallocating your entire investment portfolio by clicking on a mouse.

The ad was also E-Trade's return to the game after a decent hiatus following 2002's extravagant chimp send-off, "Monkey Musical."
