With apologies to Honda’s “Ferris Bueller” homage ("Matthew's Day Off"), MetLife won the prize for Peak Nostalgia in Super Bowl XLVI with this ad via Crispin Porter & Bogusky chock full of cartoon characters from many viewers’ youths. The Peanuts gang, He-Man, Waldo, Scooby Doo, Marvin the Martian. Holy crap, it's Voltron!
