Pepsi Max - Check Out

February 05, 2012 | 1:00

“Check-Out” via TBWA/Chiat/Day Los Angeles shows a Coke Zero truck driver getting caught buying Pepsi Max, echoing the classic 1996 Super Bowl ad called "Security Camera," in which a camera catches a Coke delivery man trying to get a can of Pepsi. (Not to be confused with Coca-Cola's very different "Security Camera" ad of 2013's Super Bowl XLVII.) The solo 2012 spot was a scaled-down presence for PepsiMax, which ran three Super Bowl ads in 2011.

Director/director of photography: Joe Pytka, who also directed the original "Security Camera" spot for Super Bowl XXX. Production company: Pytka. Executive producers: Tara Fitzpatrick. Producer: Lacy Plunk.

Chief creative officer: Rob Schwartz. Group creative director: Brett Craig. Creative director: Marlon Hernandez. Copywriter: Armando Samuels. Art director: Kristina Krkljus. Executive producers: Mila Davis, Vincent Jolie.

Post/effects: Quiet Man. Executive producer: Carey Gattyan. VFX artists: Johnnie Semerad, Nic Seresin. Editorial: Whitehouse L.A. Editor: John Smith. Assistant editors: Hilary Ruggiano, Zach Vandik, Shane Reid. Executive producers: Sue Dawson, Joni Williamson.
