The Green Conference kicks off with two keynote speakers. First attendees will hear from Peter Seligmann, Chairman of Conservation International and one of the world's leading authorities on preservation of the planet, then Mary Dillon, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer of McDonald's, will take the podium to talk about the efforts that McD's has made to become a better environmental citizen.
Other confirmed brands who'll share their insights and case studies include Fairmont Hotels, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Patagonia, Green Mountain Coffee, Burt's Bees and Annie's. They'll not only share the steps they took to make their businesses more environmentally friendly (and profitable), but also tackle issues like best communication practices and transparency in the face of green scrutiny.
