Mother Of All Co-Branding: The Internet Scavenger Hunt

Some people will do anything for a free iPod. They'll put up with endless surveys and even sell out their friends. TenHunt asked for something a little different: a scavenger hunt from sponsored site to sponsored site.

"We see the value of a TenHunt player as incredibly powerful to an advertiser. Not only will players be visiting an advertiser's site, they will be scouring its contents to discover the answer contained on the site," said TenHunt founder Mike Taggart in a statement.

No word on how many TenHunt got to give up their Friday night in order to quest across the internet to win a 30GB Video iPod, but they couldn't have done too badly: more hunts are scheduled each week.
